They penetrate the skin tissue to deliver targeted radiofrequency energy with controlled temperature to prevent thermal damage to epidermal tissue. This in turn leads to synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid to make the skin fuller, smoother, tighter and more hydrated
